Wilder Food

I finally made it to Wilder Food – the cozy brunch spot and café in The Junction, which was closed for a while, but just reopened last week! It definitely lived up to my own hype: beautiful exposed brick, cozy distressed wooden furniture, adorable succulents, super high ceilings and tons of natural light! The coffee was excellent and the menu looked scrumptious (don’t make my mistake and eat before you go!!) I ended up trying the soup of the day: mushroom, coconut milk and thyme …and yes: it was as good as it sounds. A cute bonus if you rather not focus on your writing: there is a shelf filled with board games and kids’ toys 🙂

Ok, Here are the stats:

Neighbourhood: The Junction

Wifi: Yes!

Tables: One large communal table, plus about 7 two-seaters.

Plugs: There are a few along the wall.

TTC: A 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride from Keele Station

Parking: You only have to pay $5 for the whole day at this green P, which is literally next door.

Price of a coffee: There was no drip coffee available, but an Americano was $3, a latte was $4.

What kind of glass does a Cortado come in? My Cortado was served in a regular sized mug.
